Filming in Liverpool - Wednesday

On Wednesday, we met up once again at half nine, so we could get some shots from the outside of Bluecoat. Thankfully, the weather was nice and sunny which enhanced the colours of the building to look bright and cheerful. Along with getting these shots, we were told by Chris that we had to reshoot some of the initial footage because of the focus on both the cameras messing up. He also said that we had loads more questions to ask him along with taking plenty more extreme close-ups of Michael's tools etc. So we had another very busy, tight schedule but we worked really well together as a group. No arguments occurred, however, James was three hours late to filming which was ridiculous and we weren't too impressed with how unprofessional he had been in the past two days of filming.

Nonetheless, when he arrived he got straight to work with recording the sound on the zoom. We got plenty of footage this time. We worked quietly and quickly. In the meantime, Michael showed us the 52 steps of how to make a violin which we filmed twice - once using medium shots to establish Michael working and explaining. We then re-did all that filming using extreme close-ups of his hands so in the editing process we had plenty to work with. We ensured we didn't make any mistakes because we couldn't afford to make any.

We worked until our trains on Wednesday afternoon/evening and overall, we have over 6 hours of footage to work through, but we are pleased with the results we have. Once Joe has evaluated the footage, he will inform us as to whether we have to return to Liverpool before our deadline, but thankfully, I think we got enough footage.
